The challenge

After years of helping scale startups across Europe and co-hosting a podcast with Melanie that unpacks real founder data and growth insights, Christian was watching the landscape shift beneath him. AI was changing how marketing, sales and customer success teams operate, but most content out there was surface-level: random automations, copy-paste workflows, nothing that actually helped teams deploy AI with intent.

Limbi was born out of that gap. A dedicated hub for GTM professionals to learn practical, tested AI workflows through newsletters, video tutorials and hands-on guides. But before anything could ship, he needed a brand that could hold the weight of the vision without looking like the AI startups popping up with the expected purple gradients and robotic tech aesthetics.

Make AI welcoming and warm. Our brief was clear. We needed to use the audience's real apprehensions around AI as our compass, finding the visual gap that would set Limbi apart from the noise.

Discovery

Through our brand survey and kickoff session, we unpacked the key findings that shaped direction. Competitors in the space leaned hard into information density: overwhelming layouts, cold palettes, no breathing room. Our gap was the opposite. Something that felt warm, inviting and easy from the get-go.

The brand tone landed between playful and authoritative. No-nonsense, but with a bit of humour that keeps it approachable. Smart without being academic, practical without being dry.

The name itself shaped our concept further. The limbic system connects memory, emotion and learning. So the brand needed to bridge the two: lived human knowledge on one side, and AI as the engine to apply it.

Design

The Limbi visual system was built on the left-brain vs right-brain tension. Hand-drawn illustrative elements represent the human, while pixel-based patterns provide the foundational analytical structure. The palette deliberately challenges the blues, purples and greens saturating the existing AI landscape, landing on the warmer end of the colour wheel.

The logo concept leans into what is universally recognised as a symbol for artificial intelligence (the spark), a structure that can store and build (the cube), and a symbol of memory and interpretation (the Rorschach inkblot). Together they form the Limbi mark.

Launch Assets

We delivered the brand as a simplified visual brand sheet, giving Christian a quick-view reference to understand the full visual language at a glance. The system becomes his base for content production from day one, while still allowing enough flexibility to scale when ready.
